The spreading of coronavirus (COVID-19) is presenting the whole world with a challenge that has never been seen before in this form.
We at SCHMITZ u. Söhne GmbH & Co. KG will also make our contribution to support the health system. Therefore, we have taken measures to both meet the increased worldwide demand for medical products and at the same time protect our employees in the best possible way. We have restructured our production areas and are now working in flexible shifts and many employees in administration are now working from home.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who are doing essential work in these difficult times: nurses and medical staff, staff in health authorities, supermarkets and other providers of basic services, street cleaners and refuse collectors, researchers in virology and epidemiology, politicians and volunteers.
